House of Guinness

It was a tremendous win for Cars4Cast when we were appointed to provide all transport for the recent filming of Netflix’s successful series, House of Guinness, in Manchester. The filming has generated significant excitement, particularly with the inclusion of acclaimed actor James Norton in the cast.

The production transformed areas like the Northern Quarter’s Dale Street and Stockport’s Underbank into 19th-century Dublin, complete with period-appropriate carts, barrels, and dirt-covered roads, effectively transporting the locale’s back in time.  This ambitious series, created by Steven Knight of Peaky Blinders fame, delves into the intricate saga of the Guinness family following the death of Sir Benjamin Guinness in 1868, exploring the ensuing dynamics among his four children.  The meticulous set designs and the involvement of a talented ensemble cast, including Norton, underscore the series’ potential to offer a compelling portrayal of this storied dynasty.
